Riverside Healthcare celebrated the opening of the East Tower's 5th floor with a ribbon cutting for the newly completed 33,000 square foot patient-focused addition. The 5th floor will offer 42 patient-centered private rooms equipped with state-of-the-art technology, advanced communication features and sophisticated health care team resources that take healthcare and patient experiences to new levels. To honor every organ or tissue donation occurs at Riverside, the hospital will be lit green and purple in commemoration of the gift made by the donor. Additionally, a Gift of Hope flag will be flown outside the medical center before being given to the family of the donor.
