Dr. Herskovic Sees Patients at Riverside Cancer Institute

Riverside Healthcare is pleased to welcome Alex Herskovic, MD to Riverside Medical Group. Dr. Herskovic sees patients at Riverside Cancer Institute's Betty Burch Bridgewater Center for Radiation Therapy located at 200 Riverside Drive in Bourbonnais.
"As a Radiation Oncologist, it's my responsibility to combine the latest advancements in radiation therapy with a strong sense of compassion to provide the best cancer care possible," said Dr. Alex Herskovic. "At Riverside, I have the opportunity to work closely with your team of healthcare providers to assure a personalized and integrated approach to your care while taking into account your physical, emotional, and spiritual needs."
After completing his undergraduate degree at Duke University, Dr. Herskovic received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, IL. He then completed his medical internship at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL and went on to complete a residency in radiation oncology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine in New York, NY. During his time at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Dr. Herskovic served as chief resident.
Dr. Herskovic joins Riverside Medical Group from Paramount Oncology Group where he was an attending physician. He has authored 18 peer-reviewed publications and presentations and contributed to numerous research programs. Dr. Herskovic also holds memberships in a number of medical associations, including:
