About Me

Dr. Abhimanyu Beri is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology and has authored 19 peer-reviewed medical publications. He is a member of the Heart Rhythm Society. Dr. Beri received his Doctor of Medicine from the Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India. He went on to complete a residency in internal medicine from Michigan State University followed by a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at Loma Linda University and a fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Kaiser Permanente, both in California. Dr. Beri specializes in atrial fibrillation ablation as well as performing catheter ablation without any X-ray use.

Dr. Beri is now seeing patients at Cardiovascular Specialists, Pavilion, located at 375 N. Wall Street, Suite P420 in Kankakee.

I moved to the area 2 years ago and had a tough time finding a doctor I felt comfortable with to manage my Afib. Dr Beri was reccommended by a family member. This is my second appointment with him and I feel very lucky. I feel confident his knowledge and way he handles the visit. He explains things very well and in a way I can understand. I feel confident I'm getting the best care possible. I'm very happy to have him as my heart doctor

My condition has not changed, but the doctor was very careful to remind me that I need to be very careful about taking my medications and not skip any doses. Plus things that I can expect to happen as I get older.

I feel I'm always in good hands with Dr. Beri. He takes his time with me and explains everything thoroughly. He puts me at ease that they will monitor my condition and reach out if they feel concerned that condition is worsening. I feel at good about that and less worried. I also feel like he is not rushing to get out the door. That's a great doctor!
