Wellness Services for Riverside Employees
The Well In Mind Employee Assistance Program is a free and confidential support service provided by Riverside Healthcare for its employees and their household members. The Well In Mind programs provides expanded offerings focusing on support, prevention and a mindful approach to mental health and well-being.

How to Access These Free Services
Employees can call (815) 933-2240 option 2 or email wellinmind@rhc.net to schedule a time to speak with a Well In Mind Counselor. You may have a counselor paged for emergencies for immediate assistance during business hours by contacting the Riverside Operator (815) 933-1671.
Crisis After Business Hours
After business hours, individuals in crisis should call or text the suicide prevention lifeline at 988, or go to the Riverside Central Intake Department, which is accessible through the emergency room. Individuals may request that a Well In Mind Counselor follow up with them the following day.
Cost
Employees and household members are offered six free visits for one-on-one counseling. If additional services are appropriate, referrals will be made. If you seek professional assistance from a community resource, you will be responsible for any costs not covered by your medical insurance plan.
Confidentiality
A vital element of the Well In Mind counseling sessions is confidentiality—to protect you and to encourage your participation. Your discussion with the Well In Mind Counselor and the assistance you receive will be held in the strictest confidence. You will not have to share any information with your supervisor or anyone else at work. NO INFORMATION WILL BE SHARED WITHOUT YOUR WRITTEN CONSENT. Participating in the program will not jeopardize your job and promotional opportunities.
Mandatory Referral
Riverside reserves the right to require employees to attend an Employee Support Program session if work attendance, behavior, or performance is substandard. Please review the Riverside Human Resources Policies and Procedures handbook.
