Scores for Schools LogoTo recognize the accomplishments of area high school athletic programs, Riverside Healthcare donated more than $12,500 to 18 high schools across Kankakee, Grundy, Will, and Iroquois counties for their 2024 fall sports seasons.

"Riverside is proud to recognize these remarkable student-athletes for their achievements," said Benjamin McLain, Riverside's Vice President of Operations, "As a community hospital, it is important to us to show our continued commitment to our schools and future community leaders."

Schools can earn $25 for every home varsity football touchdown, $20 for every home varsity girls volleyball match won, and for those schools without a football program, $10 for every home varsity boys soccer goal.

The participating schools earned the following amounts:

  • Beecher High School: $630
  • Bishop McNamara High School: $235
  • Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School: $1,090
  • Clifton Central High School: $660
  • Coal City High School: $1,260
  • Grace Christian Academy: $140
  • Grant Park High School: $530
  • Herscher High School: $350
  • Iroquois West High School: $160
  • Kankakee High School: $1,380
  • Kankakee Trinity Academy: $450
  • Manteno High School: $1,060
  • Momence High School: $845
  • Peotone High School: $840
  • Reed-Custer High School: $345
  • St. Anne High School: $870
  • Watseka High School: $695
  • Wilmington High School: $1,150
