Riverside Healthcare Named Best Large-Sized Business in Reader's Choice Awards

For those looking to work at a large business, one couldn’t find a better place than Riverside Healthcare. This was proven true by the readers of the Kankakee Daily Journal, who recently voted Riverside the best Large-Sized Business of the Year as part of the 2024 Reader’s Choice Awards.

This category included businesses in the Kankakee Valley area with over 76 employees.

Additionally, Riverside Healthcare as an organization received first place in three other categories, received runner-up in one category, and honorable mention in two categories for a total of seven category recognitions.

First place – Riverside Senior Life Communities received first place in both Senior Living Facility and Assisted Living.

Runner-up – Riverside Health Fitness Center’s Bobby DeLira received runner-up recognition in the Personal Trainer category.

Honorable mention – Riverside Healthcare received honorable mention in the category of Place to Work and Riverside Home Health Care received honorable mention in the category of Home Health.

The Reader’s Choice Awards is an annual event from the Daily Journal (Shaw Media) where newspaper readers and community members have several weeks to vote for their favorite local businesses, people, and organizations in a variety of categories.
