June 8, 2017
Riverside's President & CEO Phillip Kambic and members of Riverside's Leadership Team join hands and take a stand to end violence in our communities with Tiffany DeRocco, executive director, and Emily Poff, development manager of the United Way of Kankakee & Iroquois Counties and Rosa Hernandez-Warner, executive director of the Harbor House in Kankakee. Friday, June 9 is the Hospitals Against Violence National Day of Awareness.
As a member of the Illinois Hospital Association (IHA) and opponent of violence of all forms, Riverside Healthcare joins IHA in the Hospitals Against Violence Hope (#HAVhope) National Day of Awareness. On Friday, June 9, through the American Hospital Association, hospitals across the nation are standing hand in hand, united in the goal to raise awareness of efforts to end violence in their communities and their workplaces.
Riverside Healthcare works closely with organizations throughout the region, including the United Way of Kankakee and Iroquois Counties and Harbor House, in collaborative efforts to recognize, educate, prevent and protect against violence including gun, physical, sexual, and workplace.
