Riverside is recognized for playing a key role in the community

For the sixth consecutive year, Riverside Medical Center has been named one of Becker's Hospital Review's 100 Great Community Hospitals.
According to Becker's, Riverside earned the honor, "for serving as a centerpiece for health and playing a key role in the community." Additionally, the hospitals included are recognized for clinical quality, operational excellence and economic impact in the surrounding area.
Becker's Hospital Review selected independent community hospitals as well as hospitals affiliated with large healthcare systems for inclusion based on analysis of key awards, rankings and certifications in addition to the hospital's reputation for leadership and innovation.
Riverside Medical Center is one of only five hospitals in Illinois to be named in the 2017 Great Community Hospitals list.
