About Me

My goal is to help my patients have a good recovery from stroke and to educate patients on stroke prevention.Dr. Dodt is currently Medical Director of Riverside Medical Center's Primary Stroke Center. He earned his medical degree and completed his residency at Indiana University. Dr. Bruce Dodt, a Board-Certified MD, specializes in neurology. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology. This was my first time seeing Dr. Dobt since my previous neurologists at Riverside have all moved on elsewhere. Dr. Dobt was very thorough asking questions, reviewing my previous tests, scans, and records.

Dr. Dodt is very caring but he seems to be about giving more medication out each time you go.

Dr. Dodt is a very competent doctor who lacks a warm bedside manner. This in general does not put me off because he genuinely provides good care, but this visit he sat at the computer with his back to me nearly the entire exam, not speaking, which was incredibly awkward and strange. I wish he would find a way to consult my records while facing me and engaging me in conversation more regularly.
