About Me

A Message from Dr. Seban Liu:

I started out as an engineer at Mayo Clinic, but it was the compassion I saw from doctors there that inspired me to become one myself. Now as a cardiologist, I get to combine my love of science with my passion for helping people like you live healthier lives. During my training, I fell in love with this community—how friendly everyone is and how connected it feels. At Riverside, we work together as a team to give you advanced heart care, close to home. I believe in building strong relationships with my patients, listening to your story, and working with you to reach your health goals. Every person’s journey is different, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.

I love Dr. Saban Liu and his staff!!! He is the most caring and compassionate cardiologist that I've ever had who provides excellent heart health care for me with medications, my family medical history, staying in contact with my other doctors and running lab tests, CT scans, MRI tests, ultrasound tests for my legs, EMG tests with my weak muscles, ETT tests on the treadmill for me with my heart and running tests for any cardiovascular issues with my swollen legs. He discovered that I have abnormal lipedema fat in my legs and bad blood valves in my leg veins that aren't working properly which causes blood to pool in my calves and ankles due to being overweight and it's been difficult and painful to exercise and do daily activities during the day which affects my quality of life right now until lose more weight. He has also been a great motivator in helping me keep my cholesterol levels in control and helping me try to lose weight. So I'm very happy that he keeps me positive and motivated to lose the weight so I can get healthier in the future. Dr. Liu really cares about his patients and staff and always takes extra time explaining everything to his patients and answering questions or concerns and he has excellent bedside manners with his patients. You couldn't get any better cardiologist doctor than Dr. Liu he's the most sweetest caring and best doctor around! I always leave his office in the best mood ever! He's beyond a 5 star rating more like a 10 star rating in my honest opinion.
