About Me
A Message from Vinay Bajaj, MD:
I was drawn to medicine because I enjoy solving mysteries and putting the pieces together to find answers. I also enjoy working with my hands, both in medicine and in my hobbies, so surgery came naturally to me. At Riverside Healthcare, I’m a general surgeon who treats a wide range of conditions, including gallbladder problems, hernias, appendicitis, and colon conditions. What I find most rewarding is helping people who have struggled with a health problem for months or even years. Sometimes, we can find an answer and treat the problem in less than a day, with results that can change a person’s life. I earned my medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed general surgery training at Easton Hospital, followed by chief residency at St. Luke’s University Hospital Network. I’m proud to provide expert surgical care close to home and encourage you to take the first step toward finding answers.
