The sun was shining at the 46th Annual Riverside Pro-Am Golf Tournament last month. Nearly 200 golfers joined us at the Kankakee Country Club—the largest turnout to date!

This beloved event offers a chance for community members to gather, enjoy a day of friendly competition and support a meaningful healthcare cause. Thanks to the generosity of all participants, more than $180,000 was raised this year to advance brain and spine surgery at Riverside through the purchase of Brainlab Navigation equipment.

The state-of-the-art Brainlab solution helps our skilled neurosurgeons streamline incredibly precise and complex procedures, such as the planning of incisions and the placement of implants—especially in critical areas like the spinal cord and nerves. It also facilitates minimally invasive surgeries. This equipment will join the existing, robust suite of technology that we depend on to elevate the surgical experience for both patients and surgeons. With tools like these at their fingertips, our surgeons can confidently complete procedures faster than ever—so more patients in need can access life-changing, highly-advanced brain and spine care at Riverside.

We are grateful to everyone who joined us on the green. Their participation is an investment in the health of our neighbors and the important work of our talented caregivers. Let the countdown to next year’s tournament begin!

Save the date for the 47th Riverside Pro-Am Golf Tournament on Friday, June 7, 2024.
