In May, foodies from across Kankakee County enjoyed a one-of-a-kind opportunity to learn from Farmhouse Academy Owner and Executive Chef Kara and Chef Christina!

The inaugural cooking class, hosted by our Foundation team, helped create new relationships with community members, many of whom were unfamiliar with our mission. As attendees whipped up delicious caprese flatbread and cannoli, they were also learning about the transformative impact of philanthropy at Riverside.

As a thank you for attending, each participant received a complimentary one-week membership to the Riverside Health Fitness Center to enjoy with a guest.

Our team looks forward to cultivating the connections formed at the event—and to welcome new friends to our generous Riverside philanthropic community!
