Our Lend a Hand program allows everyone from schools, businesses, patients, families, and passionate community leaders to host independent fundraisers in support of Riverside Healthcare. From bake sales to runs to restaurant nights, any type of fundraising event or program can provide healing care to Riverside patients.
What is Peer-to-Peer Fundraising?
Peer-to-peer fundraising allows existing or new donors’ to host their own independent fundraisers for a cause or organization they are passionate about. These donors raise money by reaching out to their friends and family and asking for donations on behalf of a nonprofit.
Types of Peer-to-Peer Fundraising
There are two main types of fundraisers you can do: time-based campaigns, and rolling campaigns.
Time-Based: These campaigns take place within a specific time frame encouraging others to donate before the final date (for example, a 5K).
Rolling: These campaigns are continual fundraising efforts for a nonprofit that may not have a time constraint and typically run until a monetary goal is reached (for example, employee jeans day).
