Remember the ABC's of Safe Sleep

Understanding the guidelines for infant-safe sleep is crucial for the safety of your little one. At Riverside Healthcare, we emphasize the ABCs of safe sleep: A for "Alone," B for "Back," and C for "Crib." Always put your baby to sleep on their back, in a crib that meets safety standards, and without any loose bedding, pillows, or stuffed animals. Make sure the sleep area is free from anything that could block their breathing.

It's a good idea for your baby to sleep in your room but in their own bed for their first year. These steps help lower the chance of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and keep your baby safe during sleep. We're here to help you make sure your baby sleeps safely and soundly. Visit the Safe to Sleep website for more information on infant-safe sleep.
