Senior Health
Geriatric Care at the Riverside Geriatric Assessment Center focuses on the needs of patients who are age 50 and older and addresses the multiple problems that occur with aging.
Geriatric Assessment
The Geriatric Assessment begins by interviewing the patient and his/ her family and caregivers. The geriatric specialist then examines the patient's medical history as well as administering a physical examination. Additional tests to address specific geriatric syndromes may also be needed. When the assessment is completed an individualized treatment plan is developed to suit the patient's needs.
