We offer an extensive range of imaging services and technologies, with same-day appointments available for many.

• Computed Tomography (CT): This fast and painless scan uses X-rays and a computer to make detailed images of the bones, muscles and organs. Our highly skilled team performs everything from routine CT scans of the head, neck, chest and abdomen to pelvis CT scans to CT-guided biopsies to detect disorders, pinpoint tumors and confirm treatment plan progress.
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI): MRI is a simple radiation-free procedure that uses a powerful magnetic field to produce images of the body. Our specialists frequently use MRI to examine the heart, blood vessels, brain, breasts, spine, joints, abdomen and pelvic area for abnormalities, infections and disease. Riverside has traditional MRI and open MRI, for a roomier experience.
• Mammography: Mammography plays a central part in the early detection of breast cancers. We were the first in the region to offer 3D digital mammography exams, the latest advancement in detection. Now, we’re recognized as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology. • Nuclear Medicine: Nuclear medicine creates body images with the aid of a special camera. This leading-edge technology provides unique information often unobtainable through other imaging procedures, including early disease detection. Our radiologists use nuclear medicine to diagnose cancers; heart disease; gastrointestinal, endocrine and neurological disorders; and other health conditions.
• Radiography (X-ray): X-ray is the most widely used medical imaging technology, and our radiologists are experts with it. Our team commonly take X-ray images to evaluate diseases, locate foreign objects, and identify fractured bones or other abnormalities.
• Ultrasound: Ultrasound uses sound waves to capture images of the body’s internal structures. While a gold standard test for diagnosing unexplained pain, swelling and infection, Riverside radiologists also utilize ultrasound to guide biopsies and evaluate conditions related to blood flow. Ultrasound is also the preferred (and our most popular) imaging method for monitoring pregnancy.
